Dive Into Budapest’s Hidden Underwater World

As one of Europe’s most famous cities, Budapest has become a tourist hotspot known for its history, its architecture and its love of water. While most people soak above the surface in the city’s famed geothermal baths, below the metropolis lies a secret subterranean world ripe for exploration. The Hungarian capital is home to over 80 geothermal springs. As this naturally heated water flowed deep below the Earth’s surface, it carved out hundreds of caves, making Budapest home to the largest collection of thermal caves in the world. The Garden Masterpiece Grown From Rescued Plants

In Bishopville, South Carolina, Pearl Fryar is a local gardening legend. Today, it looks as if the townsfolk simply vanished one day: cues remain on the pool tables, jackets hang next to unmade beds and arithmetic lessons adorn the schoolhouse chalkboard. It's a relic of the past covered in three inches of dust.

An Underwater City for the Dead

The Neptune Memorial Reef is an eternal resting place for ocean lovers that’s entirely underwater. Cremated remains are mixed with cement and formed into placements that are added to the underwater city. The Reef is open to the public so families can dive down to visit their loved ones on the sea bottom.
